Sharing Augmented Personal Memories |
|
Humans usually act and decide not only based on personal memories, but take also into account others' experiences: making small talk about a weekend with colleagues, discussing with friends the outcome of a soccer game seen together, telling the family the day's events - there are many (and very diverse) situations where people share their memories. The project SharedLife researches how the sharing of personal, augmented memories automatically built from context information perceived in a distributed sensor network may support users in such situations. Research on SharedLife is being sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) under contract 01 IW F03 from January 2006 through December 2008. |
